Test Microphone Process –

  1. Open Settings: Click the Start Menu and select Settings (the gear icon).
  2. Go to Sound Settings: Click on System, then Sound.
  3. Select Your Microphone: Under the Input section, choose your microphone from the list (e.g., headset, webcam mic).
  4. Check the Volume Bar: Speak into the mic. If the blue volume bar moves up and down, your microphone is detecting sound.
  5. Use the Test Button: For a direct result, click Start test, speak, then click Stop test to see a percentage.
