Recover a deleted folder in Google Drive,

To recover a deleted folder in Google Drive, first check the Trash (Bin) at drive.google.com/drive/trash, right-click the folder and select Restore (within ~30 days). If it’s not there (permanently deleted), free users can contact Google Drive support to request file recovery within 25 days; Workspace users must contact their admin

1. Check the Trash (for recent deletions)

  1. Go to drive.google.com in a web browser and sign in. 
  2. Click Trash (or Bin) in the left-hand menu. 
  3. Find the folder you want to restore (you can sort by “Trashed date”). 
  4. Right-click the folder and select Restore. 
  5. It will return to its original location in your Drive.
