How To Get Hardware Hash

1 – If you are using a booted device:

  • Open PowerShell as Administrator
  • Run the following command: Get-WindowsAutopilotInfo -OutputFile "C:\HWID.csv"
  • This will generate a CSV file containing the hardware hash.
  • If that doesn’t work, consider running these commands instead:
    • [Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol = [Net.SecurityProtocolType]::Tls12
    • New-Item -Type Directory -Path "C:\HWID"
    • Set-Location -Path "C:\HWID"
    • $env:Path += ";C:\Program Files\WindowsPowerShell\Scripts"
    • Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope Process -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned
    • Install-Script -Name Get-WindowsAutopilotInfo
    • Get-WindowsAutopilotInfo -OutputFile AutopilotHWID.csv
  • The CSV file will be generated at C:\HWID\AutopilotHWID.csv

2 – If the device is in OOBE:

  • Press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt.
  • Type powershell.exe to launch PowerShell.
  • Run the same script as above (you may need to copy it from a USB drive).

3 – If PowerShell fails, you can use Windows Configuration Designer:

  • Install from Microsoft Store.
  • Create a Provisioning package
  • Export .csv with hardware hash.
