Registry and Rearm Steps

  • Open regedit via the Start menu as an administrator.
  • Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform.
  • Change the value of SkipRearm from 0 to 1.
  • Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\Status\SysprepStatus.
  • Change CleanupState to 2 and GeneralizationState to 7.
  • Open an elevated Command Prompt and run slmgr -rearm.
  • Restart your computer immediately.
